Every time MS Dhoni steps onto the Chepauk field, the fans erupt with excitement as the cameraman captures his presence and when he walks out to bat for the Chennai Super Kings.

Recently, during the IPL 2023 Qualifier 1 against the Gujarat Titans, an electrifying moment occurred when MSD took to the crease.

The DJ at the MA Chidambaram Stadium set the atmosphere ablaze by playing the iconic Rajnikanth track ‘Neruppu Da’ from the movie Kabali.

The crowd went wild with enthusiasm as Dhoni, fully geared up, made his way to the pitch, ready to unleash his power-hitting prowess.

This thrilling moment coincided with CSK having 12 balls remaining in the first innings.

Arunraja Kamaraj, the singer-director of the song ‘Neruppu Da,’ couldn’t contain his excitement after witnessing the video of MSD’s entrance and shared his enthusiastic reaction to the sight of Dhoni walking into the stadium with his track playing in the background.

In a heartfelt tweet written in Tamil, Arunraja Kamaraj expressed his emotions, which can be loosely translated as, “Initially, I felt disappointed for not being present at the stadium to witness the incredible sight. However, that feeling has now vanished. To witness the entire stadium erupt and to hear my voice in the background…wow! Even if I had shouted my heart out at the stadium, it wouldn’t have brought me as much joy as this. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made it possible for me to witness this remarkable moment.”

Chennai Super Kings have secured their place in the IPL 2023 finals with an impressive victory over the Gujarat Titans.

Despite losing the toss and being asked to chase, CSK displayed exceptional performance on their home ground.

However, CSK rose above the challenge and delivered a dominant performance at Chepauk.
