The game took place on a challenging pitch, where KKR’s spinners were causing chaos, causing the CSK batters to face difficulties.

Nevertheless, Dube, renowned for his ability to hit sixes, remained undeterred and showcased fearless batting.

During his impressive innings of 48 runs off 34 balls, Shivam Dube unleashed three massive sixes. However, one particular shot brought about a moment of alarm.

In the 12th over of the match, Dube struck a delivery from Suyash Sharma towards the region near long-off.

The ball ended up landing on one of the chairs positioned close to the boundary line, where the cheerleaders of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) were seated.

Fortunately, the alert cheerleader swiftly responded, preventing any harm to herself or her fellow colleagues.

Dube’s exceptional batting display made him the lone Chennai Super Kings (CSK) player to surpass the 30-run mark, maintaining a strike rate exceeding 130.

His unbeaten innings was executed at an impressive scoring rate of 141.18.

This season, the former Royal Challengers Bangalore player has accumulated a total of 363 runs, boasting an average of 40.33 and a remarkable strike rate of 157.14.

Notably, this is the first time he has surpassed the 300-run milestone in an IPL season.

Despite the challenging performance by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) spinners Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy, who both claimed two wickets, CSK managed to post a total of 144 runs on the scoreboard, with Dube emerging as the standout performer.

However, Suyash Sharma proved to be less effective, conceding 29 runs in three overs without securing a single wicket.

Devon Conway registered a score of 30 runs off 28 deliveries, while Ravindra Jadeja made a valuable contribution of 20 runs from 24 balls for CSK.

However, in the end, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) emerged victorious by six wickets, primarily due to Shubman Gill’s unbeaten knock of 54 runs off 47 deliveries.

Nonetheless, Dube’s outstanding form persisted, solidifying his crucial role as a key player for CSK in the upcoming matches of the season.
