“We were joking around about the difference between this pitch and our home pitch.
My aim was to build partnerships, and Ayush got off to a great start as well.
I enjoy taking responsibility for batting in the middle order and finishing the game.
Throughout my career, I’ve batted in all positions. During the nets, I was swinging a few, so they gave me the new ball to bowl.
No one likes to bowl on a flat pitch. The pitch at our home ground suits me better as I can use my change of pace more effectively there,” Stoinis stated after the match.
Despite PBKS putting up a decent fight and scoring at a good rate, they found themselves chasing the target for most of the game and eventually fell short at 201, struggling to maintain the required rate of almost 13 runs per over.
