Jasprit Bumrah, the renowned Indian fast bowler, unexpectedly showed up at the Narendra Modi Stadium to support his Mumbai Indians squad in their encounter versus the Gujarat Titans.

Although he was unable to participate on the pitch, Bumrah managed to create an impact by taking a photo with his Mumbai Indians teammates, which the team shared on their official social media account.

Bumrah had a challenging period in recent months, as he missed out on multiple series due to a stress fracture in his back.

He underwent surgery in New Zealand and is currently in India undergoing rehabilitation and recovery, with the aim of returning to action soon.

Unfortunately, Bumrah will not be part of the Indian squad for the upcoming World Test Championship Finals against Australia.

He will require another 5-6 months to regain full fitness and earn a spot in the squad.

The question on everyone’s mind is whether he will recover in time for the Asia Cup and the highly anticipated ICC World Cup 2023.
